The fixtures are machined in Korea, sent to Himed Co. in the USA for hydroxyapatite plasma coating, then returned to Korea for sterilization and packaging. This Korea-USA hybrid manufacturing process delivers a premium implant at Korean pricing.
The same Himed coating facility serves major global brands including Osstem (Korea's largest implant manufacturer), Implant Direct, and Paragon systems. The HA coating promotes faster osseointegration and stronger bone bonding compared to uncoated titanium.
What makes Kainos Dental unusual is that your implant is handled by two specialists working together. Dr. Lee Dae-gyeong (oral surgeon, SNU PhD) performs the surgical placement. Dr. Lee Cheol-gyu (prosthodontist, SNU PhD) designs and fabricates your crown, bridge, or prosthetic. Both review your case together before treatment begins.
